Untamed Athletics ("we", "us", "our") provides individual running coaching and training plans. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, contact us at the address in section 12.
Coaching sometimes involves information about your fitness, injuries, or general health. We treat this as sensitive information, collect only what is needed to build and adjust your training, and never sell it or use it for advertising. You may decline to share any detail, though this may limit how well a plan can be tailored to you.
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data to perform a contract with you (delivering coaching), on the basis of our legitimate interests (running and improving the site and responding to enquiries), with your consent where required (such as marketing emails or health-related details), and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
The site uses only cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, plus, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functions may stop working if you do. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising and we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
We keep coaching records for as long as you are an active athlete and for up to three years afterward, so we can pick up where we left off and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are deleted within twelve months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email us using the details below. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law (generally 30 days, or 45 days in California). You may use an authorized agent, and EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
The site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Athletes under 18 must have a parent or guardian arrange coaching. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information there. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to a country with different data protection laws; where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
Questions or privacy requests: email andrew@untamedathletic.net. We will confirm receipt and respond as quickly as we can.
